Hello and thank you for coming to see my website. Here’s a bit of info about me: In 1992, I graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Since then I have worked as a photographer in Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York City.
I was the founding art director and photographer of the Chicago Free Press until moving to New York in 2008. Before that I worked for seven years as photographer and page designer for Windy City Times, where I won two Chicago Headline Club Peter Lisagor Awards for “Best Photojournalist at a Non-Daily.”
I was a designer for the arts section of The New York Sun in the summer of 2008. After returning to Chicago, I worked with the University of Chicago as a contributing photographer.
Now that I’m back in New York, I’m enjoying the excitement and variety of being a freelance entertainment photographer for the Everett Collection, focusing mainly on Broadway; which is great because I live in the Times Square area and I can walk to events. I am happy to have added Northwestern University as a new client in New York.
Please send me a message using the contact page if you’d like me to photograph you or your event. I’m happy to help!
